DESCRIPTION:A contemporary dance show analysing the impact of maintaining the status quo in society is set to hit the stage at Hamilton’s Meteor Theatre. It will run on Friday\, June 8 and Saturday\, June 9.\nCommunity choreographer and performer Mike Sorensen is working with Moving Parts Productions to present The Machine. It looks at how people in society tend to fall into a specific place and role in the social structure.\n“As we grow older and wiser\, are we content in the place that we are in\, or do we become lost in the montony?” Sorensen said. \n“Do we live to work\, or work to live?” \n
